Hi all

Rev 5, loosely....John sees 'The Lamb' it has been slain, John is utterly devasted. Okay, Why, why is John devestaed?
This scene IS NOT history, it's not the past, John was there at the cross...he already knew the lamb had been slain, again he was there.

Folks the Lamb of Rev 5 IS NOT Yahshua. Otherwise the seals would have been opened 2000 years ago.

So the question is, Who is this Lamb? Do you know?

Michael-

Okay, you woke my curiosity up. If is isn't Yahshua, then who is it?

Hi Molly

It's been awhile hasn't it? So very glad to hear from you, got kind of lonely for a time.
Okay before I answer this, ponder f or a bit Isa 11, it hasn't happened yet, has it? There is a connection between the Lamb of Rev 5 and the man of Isa 11

Anyway just think about it in neutral .

Hi. I always thought that the lamb that was slain, which yet lived, was Jesus. Who else might it be? The Branch of Isaiah 11 would be him, in the coming future, he is a branch of the house of David and descended from David, though pre-existing him. John saw this as a vision as he described it, he knew it was Jesus then, by the time he wrote of it, but not right when he saw this symbolic vision.

Interesting topic!

The word in the greek used for the Lamb is the same word Yahshua uses when he tells Peter to feed his sheep...

arnion: a lamb
Original Word: ἀρνίον, ου, τό
Part of Speech: Noun, Neuter
Transliteration: arnion
Phonetic Spelling: (ar-nee'-on)
Short Definition: a lamb
Definition: (originally: a little lamb, but diminutive force was lost), a lamb.

Could the Lamb be the bride? Worthy now? Or Adam? Mankind?

Let us know what you think?
