The light of the Gentiles PDF Print E-mail

A common misconception of the Christian nation is that Yehoshua preached to Jews when in fact his very title, "light of the Gentiles" should have given you the inclination that he preached to all nations.

Because Christians keeping a mistranslated version of scriptures has led them to believe that only Paul was sent to Gentiles when in fact, the Messiah and all his apostle went to gentiles:

Luk 2:32 a light for the unveiling of the gentiles, and the esteem of Your people Yisra’ĕl.”

All the Apostle knew to deliver the message to the Gentiles.

Mat 12:18 “See, My Servant whom I have chosen, My Beloved in whom My being did delight. I shall put My Spirit upon Him, and He shall declare right-ruling to the Gentiles.

Mat 24:14 “And this Good News of the reign shall be proclaimed in all the world as a witness to all the Gentiles, and then the end shall come.

His final command was to go to the Gentiles:

Mat 4:15 The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles;

Note this is quoting Isaiah 9 and I strongly recommend you read it:

Mat 28:19 “Therefore, go and make taught ones of all the Gentiles, immersing them in the Name of the Father [Yahweh] and of the Son [Yehoshua] and of the Set-apart Spirit,
Mat 28:20 teaching them to guard all that I have commanded you. And see, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” Amĕn.

The fact is in Matthew 19, when the Messiah was in Judea, not Israel, he preached the Ten Commandments on the other side of the Jordon River:

Mat 19:1 And it came to pass, that when Yehoshua had finished these sayings, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judaea beyond Jordan;
Mat 19:2 And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there.

Those great multitudes were gentiles that followed him from "Galilee of the Gentiles" where his ministry was based. Galilee is mentioned 70 times in the Good News.

Mat 8:10 When Yehoshua heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

In fact, much of the ministry of Messiah was in Gentile lands such as Decopolis.

Mat 4:23 And Yahushua  went about all Galilee, teaching in their congregations, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
Mat 4:24 And his fame went throughout all SYRIA: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.
Mat 4:25 And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from BEYOND Jordan.

They first wrote of him in Gentile lands:

Mar 5:20 And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Yahushua had done for him: and all men did marvel.

Deca is Greek for 10. This was a collection of 10 Roman cities. Let's not forget his work in

Mar 8:27 And Yahushua went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi:

Ceasarea is derived from "Caesar", it was purely a Roman enclave.

Num 6:24 “Yahweh bless you and guard you;
Num 6:25 Yahweh make His face shine upon you, and show favour to you;
Num 6:26 Yahweh lift up His face upon you, and give you peace.” ’

Exo 20:7 “You do not bring the Name of 'Yud-Heh-Vav-Heh [translated Yahweh] your Elohim to naught, for Yahweh does not leave the one unpunished who brings His Name to naught.

Very good points Snow:
Too bad so many have forgotten that in the 'last days' Ephraim is the fullness of the gentiles.
