It is important to know that Chapter 10 & 14 is a parallel prophecy. 

Isa 14:1  Because Yahweh has compassion on Jacob, and shall again choose Yisra’ĕl, and give them rest in their own land. And the strangers shall join them, and they shall cling to the house of Jacob.

The chapter begins by reminding Israel that they will not be forgotten forever and that one day “strangers” will join Israel and cling to the house of Jacob note this predates the Levite priesthood becaue the Messiah was Melchizedek. Immediately we see this is contrary to the standard Christian belief that says the covenant is abolished and Israel is replaced by the strangers.

Isa 14:2 And peoples shall take them and bring them to their own place. And the house of Yisra’ĕl shall possess them for servants and female servants in the land of Yahweh. And they shall make captives of their captors, and rule over their oppressors.

Contrary again to Christian Dogma, we find that Israel will be the dominate house and the Christian church will come to dwell with them.

Isa 14:3 And it shall be, in the day Yahweh gives you rest from your sorrow, and from your trouble and the hard service in which you were made to serve,

“Rest from your sorrow” speaks of Sabbath rest.  The idea I believe is that when you understand the nature of what scriptures speak of strife begins to be removed and harmony begins as Babylon ceases to rule over you.

Isa 14:4 that you shall take up this proverb against the sovereign of Babel, and say, “How the oppressor has ceased, the gold-gatherer ceased!

So, here we see a post-reference to end times and Babylon that is later paralleled in the book of Revelation by John.

Rev 18:2 And he cried with a mighty voice, saying, “Babel the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a haunt for every unclean spirit, and a haunt for every unclean and hated bird, 3 because all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her whoring, and the sovereigns of the earth have committed whoring with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the power of her riotous living.”

While Isaiah speaks of a time when “gold gatherers ceased”, John tells of how the merchants became rich.  A lot of people wrongly assume this prophecy is to the “king of Babylon” but this is not the case because this man is an Assyrian.  “Sovereign of Babel” is simply saying he is the one that causes the gentiles to be divided.

Isa 14:5 “Yahweh has broken the staff of the wrong, the *scepter* of the rulers,

A staff belongs to a shepherd and this Assyrian is a false shepherd. The scepter of rulers is very interesting because the Hebrew word “Shebet”, is also translated PEN in other verses.  An example is here:

Jdg 5:14 …and out of Zebulun they that handle *the pen* of the writer.

This idea is supported by Chapter 10:

Isa 10:1 “Woe to those making unrighteous laws, and writers who have prescribed toil,

So this scepter is the writer of books written that rule over the “all the world” and we find that Apostle Paul’s work in scriptures is unique being published in the worlds #1 best seller of all time, the “Holy Bible”. 

Isa 14:6 he who smote the people in wrath with ceaseless blows, he who ruled the gentiles in displeasure, is persecuted and no one restrains.

Persecuted and no one restrains.  Considering Paul was persecuted, even fatally wounded and never restrained by the emerging congregations, this provides a lot of evidence to support the idea this is speaking of Paul.

Act 23:9 And there was a great uproar. And certain of the scribes of the party of Pharisees were earnestly contending, saying, “We find no evil in this man. And if a spirit or a messenger has spoken to him, let us not fight against Elohim.”

  In other words, the gentile church has allowed the “sovereign of Babel” to lead unchallenged. We must also recognize that this PEN rules over all the gentiles.

Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from the heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.¹ Footnote: ¹Jer. 51:6 & 45.

Rev 18:5 “Because her sins have piled up to reach the heaven, and Elohim has remembered her unrighteousnesses.

The New Covenant says that sins are no longer remembered!  So this takes place BEFORE the new covenant is instituted and illustrates that the false teaching that we live in the “New Covenant” church as a false one.

Jer 31:34 “And no longer shall they teach, each one his neighbour, and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know יהוה,’ for they shall all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares Yahweh. “For I shall forgive their crookedness, and remember their sin no more.”

The Christian church attempts to teach you this covenant is in place but that is impossible as you can see because clearly John teaches the sins of Babylon are not forgotten and this speaks to a time when they are, after wrath.

Isa 14:7 “All the earth is at rest and at peace, they shall break forth into singing.

Again, this speaks clearly of the New Covenant when “all the earth is at rest”, pointing to the millennium Sabbath of Yahweh.

Isa 14:8 “Even the cypress trees rejoice over you, and the cedars of Leḇanon, saying, ‘Since you were cut down, no woodcutter has come up against us.’

When the King of Babylon is “cut down” even the trees rejoice.  One of the questions I've been asking is why do the trees rejoice? Then it occurred to me that the pen of Babel would no longer be printed on its paper.

The  need to print the extra hundred pages of his many words is gone after this King is cut down once and for all. The word translated as “woodcutter” can mean a destroyer and is tied to covenants.  Strong reads:

kaw-rath'

A primitive root; to cut (off, down or asunder); by implication to destroy or consume; specifically to covenant (that is, make an alliance or bargain, originally by cutting flesh and passing between the pieces):

This shepherd cuts down the covenant.

Isa 14:9 “The grave from beneath is excited about you, to meet you at your coming; it stirs up the dead for you, all the chief ones of the earth; it has raised up from their thrones all the sovereigns of the gentiles.

“The dead” gentiles refuse to hear the one shepherd and are those without the truth of Elohim.  Apostle Paul was canonized after his death by the Roman Catholic Church that are stirred up for him as the leaders of the gentiles.  Paul’s letters are called “inspired words” of Yehoshua in every church and are regarded as the highest authority in the Christian church.  It’s as if Yehoshua is just a puppet, unable to speak for himself.

Isa 14:10 “All of them respond and say to you, ‘Have you also become as weak as we? Have you become like us?

Now this particular quote is interesting because many times Paul boasted of being weak.

2Co 12:5 Of such a one I shall boast, but of myself I shall not boast, except in my weaknesses.

Isa 14:11 ‘Your arrogance has been brought down to the grave, and the sound of your vessel; the maggot is spread under you, and worms cover you.’

His boast is brought to the spiritually dead gentiles and his words transported. Consider this parallel In Job:

Job 17:13 If I wait – the grave is my house, I shall make my bed in darkness,

Job 17:14 I shall say to corruption, ‘You are my father,’ – to the worm, ‘You are my mother and my sister.’

Job 17:15 Where then is my expectancy? As for my expectancy, who would see it?

Job 17:16 Would it sink down into the grave? Would we together go down into the dust?”

Isa 14:12 “How you have fallen from the heavens, O Hĕlĕl, son of the morning!

Now to have “fallen” one must have been raised up at some point and this might explain that in some instances it is recorded that the spirit of Elohim did in fact work in Apostle Paul.

 (cont) You have been cut down to the ground, you who laid low the gentiles!

Preaching to the Gentiles was the entire mission of Paul. Paul was the messenger to the gentiles by his own testimony. 

Isa 14:13 “For you have said in your *heart,

*It’s important to note that he only says these words in his heart, not in writing.

 ‘Let me go up to the heavens, let me raise my throne above the stars of Ěl, and let me sit in the mount of meeting on the sides of the north;

Now notice carefully it’s only the NORTH.  All of Paul’s missionary journeys recorded show he always went to the North of Israel.  After his confrontation with Peter, he never returned to Israel.  This is also important because the prophets also say that

Isa 28:11 For with a jabbering lip and a foreign tongue He speaks to this people,

Isa 28:12 to whom He said, “This is the rest, give rest to the weary,” and, “This is the refreshing.” But they would not hear.

The tongue is foreign because it is Hebrew and the scriptures are corrupted with the “jabbering lip” of the name of Baal.

Isa 28:13 But the Word of Yahweh was to them, “Command upon command, command upon command, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little,” so that they go and shall stumble backward, and be broken and snared and taken captive.

You see, these people are taken captive and believe in “Command upon command” instead of only 10 commandments, they believe the Torah has 613 but this is not the case. So it continues.

Isa 14:14 let me go up above the heights of the clouds, let me be like the Most High.’

Now this is interesting to me because he only desires to be “like” the Most High just like the promise of Satan to Eve.  So it is not Satan who wants to be the Most High but another fallen beast of Babylon.  This pen that councils the whole earth, attempts to command his followers into the heavens with his lack of judgment and that which belongs to Yahweh alone.

Isa 14:15 “But you are brought down to the grave, to the sides of the Pit.

He’s brought to the sides of the Pit but not cast in like Satan will be.  Many confuse Lucifer with Satan because they don’t study the details of this prophesy.

Isa 14:16 “Those who see you stare at you, and ponder over you, saying, ‘Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook reigns,

A clear identification is here in that he is a MAN and not a spirit.  The effects of this man are world wide and they shake the reigns of those in the wilderness and cities.  It’s important to look at the parallel prophecy made by Jeremiah 51 about Babylon (v.12) at this point:

Jer 51:22 “And with you I shall break in pieces man and woman, and with you I shall break in pieces old and young, and with you I shall break in pieces the young man and the maiden.

Jer 51:23 “And with you I shall break in pieces the shepherd and his flock, and with you I shall break in pieces the farmer and his yoke of oxen. And with you I shall break in pieces governors and rulers.

Now we know that Paul preached strongly against a female priesthood!  His works have caused division between men and woman. 

1Ti 2:11 Let a woman learn in silence, in all subjection.

1Ti 2:12 But I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, rather, to be in silence.

Notice that the pieces of the shepherd and his flock are broken in pieces and this clearly illustrates the modern Christian church with his literally hundreds of different denominations.

Isa 14:17 who made the world as a wilderness and destroyed its cities, who would not open the house of his prisoners?’

The house of his prisoners as I just pointed out, this man takes captives with his words.

1Pe 3:19 in which also He went and proclaimed unto the spirits in prison,

The works of this one man makes captives of the entire world from the grave and if you consider Apostle Paul and the church canonized his works long after his death.

Isa 14:18 “All the sovereigns of the gentiles, all of them, were laid in esteem, everyone in his own house;

Popes and religious leaders are the spiritual “sovereigns of the gentiles”.  The context here is a theocracy.

Isa 14:19 but you have been thrown from your grave like an abominable BRANCH, like the garment of those who are slain, thrust through with a sword, who go down to the stones of the pit, like a trampled corpse.

Notice the reference to an “abominable BRANCH” thrown out of the grave.  The King of Babylon, thrown out of the grave, affecting the entire world like an abominable branch which is a messianic reference.  The true branch was the Messiah and this abominable branch is the “antichrist”.

Act 28:22 “And we think it right to hear from you what you think, for indeed, concerning this sect, we know that it is spoken against everywhere.”

Paul was widely rejected in his day and spoken against everywhere, including Jerusalem that he had disobeyed.  His “sect” was turned out everywhere until after his death when he was made part of the “Holy Bible”.  The people of that day were not as easily fooled as they are today.

2Ti 1:15 You know this, that all those in Asia have turned away from me

Whenever Paul was accused of misinformation it was because they said that he preached against the Torah of Elohim.

Act 21:28 crying out, “Men of Yisra’ĕl, help! This is the man who is teaching all men everywhere against the people, and the Torah, and this place. And besides, he also brought Greeks into the Set-apart Place and has profaned this Set-apart Place.”

Interesting enough is that later John confirms the witness of these men as TRUE!

3Jn 1:12  Demetrius hath good report of all men, and of the truth itself: yea, and we also bear record; and ye know that our record is true.

 These are the men of Ephesians that are mention in Revelation:

 Rev 2:2  I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:

So we see that clearly we had men who claimed to be apostles and were not and were liars according to the Ephesians.  Isn’t it remarkable that these same men are the ones speaking against Paul?

Act 19:29 And the entire city was filled with *confusion*, and they rushed with one mind into the theatre, having seized Gaios and Aristarchos, Makedonians, Sha’ul’s fellow travellers.

Consider that the town where Paul was preaching was filled with confusion.

Act 19:30 And Sha’ul, intending to go in among the mob, the taught ones did not allow him.

Even Paul’s closest companion from the beginning, Barnabas had converted to follow the true church.

Gal 2:13  And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.

Isa 14:20 “You are not joined with them in burial, for you have destroyed your land and slain your people. Let the seed of evil-doers never be mentioned.

The “seed” of Paul was never mentioned or even if he had children. Many people confuse this King of Babylon with Nebuchadnezzar but his son is clearly known by the book of Daniel,

Dan 5:22 And thou his son, O Belshazzar,

So we know this can’t be Nebuchadnezzar!

Isa 14:21 “Prepare his children for slaughter, because of the crookedness of their fathers, lest they rise up and possess the land, and fill the face of the world with cities.”

The children are “prepared” for slaughter but this does not mean they are destroyed, only that they have been deceived into believing him…

Eze 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

Isa 14:22 “And I shall rise up against them,” declares Yahweh of hosts, “and shall cut off from Baḇel the name and remnant, and offspring and descendant,” declares Yahweh.

Our heavenly Father Yahweh is actually going to come to the rescue and cut off Babylon and false teachings so that they might live!

Isa 14:23 “And I shall make it a possession for the porcupine, and marshes of muddy water; and shall sweep it with the broom of destruction,” declares Yahweh of hosts.

Instead he will destroy Babylon!

Isa 21:9 And, behold, here cometh a chariot of men, with a couple of horsemen. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her elohim he hath broken unto the ground.

Isa 14:24 Yahweh of hosts has sworn, saying, “Truly, as I have planned, so shall it be; and as I have purposed, so it stands:

What I found interesting is that Lucifer is purposed by Yahweh himself who later says that he creates good and evil and I believe its so that we are tested and learn from the challenges presented to us.

Isa 14:25 “To break Ashshur in My land, and tread him down on My mountains. And his yoke shall be removed from them, and his burden removed from their shoulders.

Ashshur or the Assyrian is fascinating because if you examine the area known as Tarsus, you will find that it is in fact part of the area controlled by the Assyrian empire and that makes Paul a descendant of Assyrians.

Isa 10:5 “Woe to Ashshur, the rod of My displeasure and the staff in whose hand is My displeasure.

Isa 10:6 “I will send him against a hypocritical nation, and against the people of My wrath I command him to seize the spoil, to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mud of the streets.

Isa 10:7 “But he does not intend so, nor does his heart think so, for it is *in his heart to destroy*, and cut off not a few gentiles.

Gal 2:18 For if I build again the things which *I destroyed*, I make myself a transgressor.

Isa 10:8 “For he says, ‘Are not my princes sovereigns?

1Co 4:8 You are already satisfied! You are already enriched! YOU HAVE REIGNED as sovereigns, apart from us! And I wish, indeed, you did reign, that WE also might REIGN with you!

Paul says his people reign, not Yahweh. Yahweh sent him against the gentiles for their rejection of his Torah!

Isa 14:26 “This is the counsel that is counseled for all the earth, and this is the hand that is stretched out over all the gentiles.

When we consider the fact that the counsel is for all the earth, Paul’s writings are uniquely suspect as fitting every aspect of this prophecy.

Isa 14:27 “For Yahweh of hosts has counseled, and who annuls it? And His hand that is stretched out, who turns it back?”

So we see that Paul, as Luke said, is a “chosen vessel” because it is his sovereign will that the false prophets council the whole earth. 

Isa 10:13 “For he has said, ‘By the power of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom, for I have been clever. And I remove the boundaries of the people, and have robbed their treasuries. And I put down the inhabitants like a strong one.

2Co 12:16 But be it so, I did not burden you. But being crafty, did I catch you with guile?

Isa 10:14 ‘And my hand finds the riches of the people like a nest. And I have gathered all the earth like forsaken eggs are gathered. And there was no one who moved his wing, nor opened his mouth with even a peep.’ ”

1Co 5:4 In the Name of our Master Jesus Messiah, when you are gathered together, and MY SPIRIT with the power of our Master Jesus Messiah,

Isa 10:15 Would the axe boast itself over him who chops with it, or the saw exalt itself over him who saws with it? As a rod waving those who lift it up! As a staff lifting up that which is not wood!

After this, the message then takes a turn from speaking about “Lucifer” and turns to speak to the remnant who have the revelation about Paul.

Isa 14:28 This is the message which came in the year that Sovereign Aḥaz died:

Isa 14:29 “Do not rejoice, all you of Philistia, that the rod that smote you is broken; for out of the serpent’s roots comes forth an adder, and its offspring is a fiery flying serpent.

Out of the root of this false council, this poisonous doctrine come the church of the dragon that preaches against keeping the Ten Commandments.

Rev 12:17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to fight with the remnant of her seed, those guarding the commands of Elohim and possessing the witness of Yehoshua Messiah.

Isa 14:30 “And the first-born of the poor shall feed, and the needy lie down in safety. And I shall kill your roots with scarcity of food, and it shall slay your remnant.

Isa 14:31 “Howl, O gate! Cry, O city! Melt away, all you of Philistia! For smoke shall come from the north, and there is no stranger in his ranks.”

Isa 14:32 And what does one answer the messengers of the gentiles? “That Yahweh has founded Tsiyon, and the poor of His people take refuge in it.”

Notice this last verse calls him, “the messenger of the gentiles”. Take your refuge in Yahweh and his word alone.  Beware the messengers of the gentiles! 

Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of YHWH: for if righteousness come by the law, then the Messiah is DEAD in vain.

2Co 2:11 lest Satan should take advantage of us, for we are not ignorant of his thoughts.
