For so long I have endured the hate that is directed ignorantly and arrogantly towards my brothers and sisters due to their sexual orientation.

For so long I have endured the pain that is inflicted on many of them by others and themselves due to this stigma.Ignorantly.

We all have known or know a homosexual. A person attracted to the same gender.Man to man .Woman to woman.Where we stand on this issue depends on our education and heart.

In the recent weeks it has become more apparent that many I associate with personally have issues within their own families with a member who professes an attraction to the same gender. Many have a bias and prejudice towards those whose sexual orientation differs from theirs because of false doctrines and dictates of men supposedly promoted and supported by the bible.This is a deliberate lie and misinterpretation of the book referred to as the "Bible". Taken out of context.

But let's first look at the Old Testament book of Leviticus where male homosexuality is first mentioned. Though it wasn't referring to adult male to male relationships or the common man.

The introduction to Leviticus states,"The name "Leviticus" was bestowed on the third book of the Pentateuch by the ancient Greek translators because a good part of this book consists of sacrificial and other ritual laws prescribed for the priests of the tribe of Levi."

It was for the PRIESTS! Levite Priests.

Lets start with the proper "context"

You shall not offer any of your offspring to be immolated to Molech, thus profaning the name of your God. I am the LORD."

See,when taken in the context of the Levitical priesthood it was indicating that the priest's were not to immolate children to Molech as the other Nations priests had done.

Notice how it does not mention that women were not to lie with women?

You might say that they excluded woman due to their diminished status due to male chauvinistic...they didn't need to be "included".

But no...that's not the case. In the next verse they are mentioned along "with" the men.

"You shall not have carnal relations with an animal, defiling yourself with it; nor shall a woman set herself in front of an animal to mate with it; such things are abhorrent. "

Now why is that? Because it was referring to the practices of other Nations priests. And the practice of these priests that entailed sexual fertility rites with effiminates((of a man or boy) Having behaviour or mannerismsconsidered unmasculine or typical of a woman or girl; feminine. Catamites. boys or young men who were kept for purposes of prostitution, a practice not uncommon in the Greco-Roman world. Let's first take a look at the correct translation...btw ...interpretation is not the same as translation linguistically. Interpretation is subjective. Influenced by bias,prejudice,motive and audience.

These verses are insertions attributed to Paul. They contradict Jesus. This is just one example.The name Paul was attached to give credence to the Roman state sponsored religion of the "Roman" Church. I know of a "woman" Methodist Pastor who's daughter is "lesbian". I found this out last week during bible class...she related it to the class...that she didn't have to worry about being embarrassed by this revelation any longer due to the fact that her daughter and her partner "showed" up together one day at service...the cat was let out of the bag. The earth didn't explode and I believe that there was not much fallout...it wasn't that embarrassing.

For her or others.Except ,bless her heart,she believes that her loved one is living in sin...but what the hell...who isn't?That's how it is dealt with...though as we can see ..it's not scripturally supported. And Yeshua(Jesus) never indicated otherwise.Only men who by motive and agenda have distorted and manipulated us into hate and distress...guess what type of people those initially were? And I am not writing of the blind leading the blind...they have alll been deceived by this vicious cycle of ignorance...but it's all right there infront of them and we have all the resources literally available at our finger tips thanks to a loving and merciful Father.To bad they can't admit they were snowed and have been in error...I think it's called false pride. The world won't end if they do...in fact the world as awhole will breath a sigh of relief.

For you know what this Pastor also related...that her daughter and her partner(lover),in spite of this "so-called sin",were in every respect very Holy and loving people. She loves her daughter!

I know of so many institutions that consider "homosexuality" an abomination in God's eyes...would they find it surprising that God never indicated this?

All I can say is that I hope that you research this further if you still have doubts and really want to follow the commandments of Yeshua(Jesus) that impress love for God the Father,your brother and sister and most especially for you.For how can you live in such anguish due to ignorance and compounded by fear and hate? Doesn't it hurt enough?

In Matthew 5:21-26 Jesus amplifies the meaning of the sixth commandment. He brings out that to commit murder means more then just killing someone, it means having an angry and unforgiving attitude towards them:

Murder like all sin, beginnings in the human mind (Matthew 15:18-19; Mark 7:20-23) it starts as a thought, in this case hatred, which leads to the action of murder (James 1:13-15; 4:1-3). The opposite of hating someone is loving them, we should even love our enemies (Matthew 5:43-48), seeking not revenge, but looking for ways to help them.
