I wanted to start a place where I can write small "bits and pieces" that come to mind from time to time. Something you can chew on, savor and digest if you wish. I will serve some break-fast, lunch and dinner items and hopefully some sweet and fattening Desserts.

As simple as ABC

Some people say that when Paul said "follow me" - he meant that we should follow him as he followed Jesus (Yeshua).

So then if B is Paul and A is Jesus and you're C

Then if C is following B and B is following A.

C -> B -> A

Then by removing B you should still be following A.

C -> A

Simple ABC right?

It should be but there's a snag and many people won't be happy if you simply remove B.

So what's the

If somebody told you there was a diamond worth 10 million in your backyard and if you found it you could keep it, how long would you spend digging, and searching for that diamond?

A few minutes, a few days, a few months, or years?

A few minutes a day, five hours a day, 10 hours a day?

No effort, some effort, concerted effort or every ounce you've got?

That's the way it is with truth. You've got to

What would you prefer?

To hear a message directly from a person or to hear someone tell you about a message.

This is what the Gospel OF Jesus Christ is about.

Hear Jesus directly by reading HIS WORDS (yes in some bibles the red letters).

Who told you Paul's gospel was the true gospel?

Paul did. And maybe your pastor.

Who told you Paul's writings were the Word of God?

Paul did. And maybe your pastor.

It's time to check your

Go to a Christian church and tell them that you made your Bible LIGHTER (not darker - get it :-) ) and see the reaction. You may have to wear some protective gear.

Quotes from famous people

Have you ever wondered what some famous people have said?

Albert Schweitzer :
"Where possible Paul avoids quoting the teaching of Jesus, in fact even mentioning it. If we had to rely on Paul, we should not know that Jesus taught in parables, had delivered the sermon on the mount, and had taught His disciples the 'Our Father.' Even where they are specially relevant, Paul passes over the words of the

The Fear Factor

What's keeping you from finding out the truth?

Fear?

Do you think that it's too scary to leave your comfort zone, the church, your friends and family perhaps, to find out the truth?

Or are you scared that you'll go to hell, as people love to say, if you dare start thinking.

It's time to get bold. Perfect love casts out fear. Take a look at what Jesus said. And what happened to Him. Didn't He tell us
