The most amazing prophecy to me in the Old Testament is the 490 years of Daniel. Here is an interpretation that you may not have read before.

Daniel 9:24-27 is a bit long, I won't copy it.
The book of Acts tells us that Paul was a Roman, he definitely tried to change the law.

Daniel 7:25, He shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High,and shall think to change the times and the law;
and they shall be given into his hand for a time, times and half a time.

Parts of chapter 7, also refer to this time.

The above verse seems to indicate that it last 42 months or 1260 days. However, Jesus said in Matt 24:22, "And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short."

Those 1260 days that is indicated in Daniel, were cut short to just 45 days. Paul's terror on the saints was shortened. His new mission is to deceive people.

The end of the 69th week and the beginning of the 70th week are at the baptism of Jesus.

The middle of the 70th week is when "the anointed one shall be cut off" This was after 1260 days (42 months)

There is no gap in the 70th week as many Christians claim.

The second half of the 70th week, the Apostles and disciples of Jesus preached the kingdom of God as Jesus did for 1260 days, 42 months.

Paul came along 30 days after this. 1290 days after Jesus was killed, Daniel 12:11

Paul persecuted the followers of Jesus for 45 days
by having them killed, some have suggested they were tortured first..

Blessed is he who waits and arrives at the 1335 days.

Paul changed tactics after the 1335 days.
