We must remember which god we speak of
when talking about the god of man's bible

This is the false god of this world-
the wrathful jealous vengeful god

which is made with the same flaws within....
as the men who fashioned him

There are many laws of logic
one such is... the law of contradiction

an apple can not be an apple
and an orange at the same time

when two things contradict you get a big zero... a lie

Therefore,

An apple who tells you to
be ye perfect as your father in heaven...LOVE your enemies

can not be an orange at the same time
killing his enemies.....

a big zero...the greatest of lies!!


Let take a closer look at the god of mans Bible...
what commands does such a loving god put forth?

Kill Men, Women, and Children

"Then I heard the LORD say to the other men,

More Rape and Baby Killing

Anyone who is captured
will be run through with a sword.

Mass Murder

I think one must tread very, very carefully if you are going to throw out OT _script_ure because of a violent act. And I do not dismiss the fact that those acts are in the Bible.

Also there were different seeds in the lands at that time - eg. giants - Goliath was an offspring of one of those giants of old and if you look at the Book of Enoch it appears they were nothing but trouble and had to be wiped out.

It's an interesting subject nevertheless.
